Thank you

Thank you, Lord, for calling me to obedience and not what I want or feel. Thank you for calling me to hard places even when it’s not easy. Thank you for being with me and pushing me to faithfulness even when tears filled my eyes. Thank you for being the shepherd of my soul. Thank you for the body of believers that walks alongside and seeks me out.

Thank you for support raising and the humbling tool that it is. Thank you for preparing me spiritually, mentally, emotionally even through the support raising process. Thank you for bringing me to dependance on you even in these stages. Thank you God for the unexpected and miraculous ways you have provided for me. Thank you God that money can make an eternal impact. Thank you for support that will truly enable me to share the gospel in Croatia. Thank you for sustaining me even when it’s hard. Thank you for reframing and renewing my mind when I begin to doubt. Thank you for Josiah Venture and the amazing agency and support system they are. Thank you for a family that supports me. Thank you for the ways you have enabled me to use my giftings and resources to raise support. Thank you that you have been preparing me for this very thing for years.

Thank you for the Hinger family and their courageous, bold and gospel-centered hearts. Thank you for the kids they are raising to know and love you and be bold missionaries even now. Thank you for giving them a heart for Croatia. Thank you for challenging them and growing them. Thank you for the amazing ways you create ministry connections. Thank you that I get to partner with them in ministry again in Croatia! Thank you for the relationships we will build this summer. Thank you for the people we will meet on the streets as we tell them about Jesus. Thank you that you are already working.

Thank you for the days I will be uncomfortable. Thank you for days that I will feel weak and unqualified and in over my head. Because through it all you will be glorified.

Pray this prayer with me. Although it is familiar, I encourage you to read each word slowly and truly pray–for Croatia, for Europe, for the US, for our world.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. – Matthew 6:9-13
