Proverbs 3:5-6. Your average Christian knows this verse; we see it on bumper stickers, coffee mugs, and car air fresheners. But do our hearts know it? Over the last few days the Lord has been bringing this verse to mind. As I set out on the journey of support raising for my internship, I am reminded that this is the beginning of a beautiful journey. It’s scary. It’s hard. It’s uncomfortable. But, as I kept asking questions, succumbing to worry, and leaning on my understanding and not His faithfulness, God patiently reminded me:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight.
Wow. What a comfort. All I need to do is trust Him! I cannot trust in myself or the ways of man. As I set out to raise all the support I need over the next couple of months, it’s easy for me to look at that number and get scared. Lean on my own understanding and live in disbelief. But, when I trust in the Lord and acknowledge Him, I can trust that He will provide and He will lead my path. I do not need to worry. I just need to trust in Him.
So whether I’m on the road of support raising, boarding a plane to Croatia, walking across a stage to receive my undergrad diploma or getting on a plane to share the gospel to the ends of the earth, I can trust in Him!

SUPPORT ME FINANCIALLY
This summer, I have been given the great opportunity to go to Croatia as an intern with Josiah Venture. But, I need to raise $5,100 to get there by May 1. $500 or $5, every little bit counts! When you give, you are joining in with the Lord’s work. Can you help me get to $5100 by May 1? Out of the 4.5 million people in Croatia, only .5% identify as evangelical believers. Will you join in God’s work by supporting me in prayer and financially?
I am so excited and humbled by the opportunity that God has placed on my path. I trust that the Lord will use this time greatly in my life as I plan to head on to the mission field permanently after completing my education. I am so excited to tell you that I have the opportunity to go to Croatia May-August to join in the work that God is doing. I’ll be involved in camps, discipleship and outreach to raise up the next generation of leaders for Christ. If you’re interested in hearing more, I’d love to share with you!
